30 YEARS ON MARCH 30, 2025

The Dallas Kosher Chili Cookoff (http://kosherchilicookoff.us/) is recognized as the premier event in North Texas for bringing the Jewish community together in one place for a day of fun, food, camaraderie, and excellent kosher chili.

Started in 1994, the Dallas Kosher Chili Cookoff is the oldest and largest Kosher Chili Cookoff event in the world. This year will be the 30th (sadly, we had to skip 2 years for COVID) and is held annually on the Tiferet Israel campus at 10909 Hillcrest Road near Royal Lane.

Interested in getting ahead of the curve for 2025? We’ve already begun planning for our 30th year on March 30, 2025…have you? Click here and share your area of interest with us, be it as a team, sponsor, vendor, or volunteer and we’ll be sure to keep you updated early!

Everything is Kosher

All products at the Dallas Kosher Chili Cook–Off are certified as kosher.

All teams use ingredients—meats, spices, and vegetables—prepared following Jewish dietary laws. Cooking is supervised by specially trained rabbis. No dairy products are used or allowed at the cook–off.

Thank You Sponsors!

An event like the Dallas Kosher Chili Cook–off requires effort and support. The cook–off prospers because of both. In addition to dedicated team members working on the necessary details to help assure success, the Dallas Kosher Chili Cook–Off benefits from the support of leading companies, groups, and individuals stepping up as sponsors. The generosity of sponsors allows the cook–off to keep prices affordable for the kosher chili teams and for individuals and families who attend. Please see the side panels of this page and other pages for lists of our title sponsors and individual sponsors. Mobile device users can see the sponsor lists by scrolling down. There is also a page showing a complete list of sponsors. Thank you all for your generosity.

Drug Take Back Program

The Dallas Kosher Chili Cook–Off regularly partners with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), the Recovery Resource Council, and the Dallas police, to host the Drug Take Back program during the event. The program provides attendees, participants, and any passers-by with the opportunity to drop off their unwanted, unused, outdated, animal and human prescription and non-prescription drugs so they can be properly disposed.
